Twin Oast Brewing is situated on a sixty-acre family farm and orchard in Port Clinton, Ohio. The brewery embraces a “farm to fermenter” mission, utilizing produce grown on-site whenever possible.

Twin Oast features a tap room with expansive views of the surrounding farm. Dimit Architects designed a custom walnut bar that integrates unique steel accents fabricated by the family’s own steel company. The space also features walnut and steel wall paneling, an area for live music performances, and a custom mural wall diagraming the components of an oast- a traditional structure used by farmers to dry hops. A connected four-seasons room with generous local Catawba stone and fireplace accommodates guests for seated and private events.

The patio is organized around two new oast structures which give Twin Oast brewery its name. The oasts are clad in Catawba stone and modeled after the traditional structures. Dimit assisted in the customization of these oasts to include an outdoor bar and seating. An outdoor kitchen and dining area play host to large crowds who flock to the brewery, which has become a regional destination.
