Dimit Architects designed Triton Cay Orlando, an apartment community featuring 346 market-rate units in a rapidly developing area near Universal Studios. The project activates a site that had previously hosted a corporate headquarters which stood vacant for more than ten years.
Creating strong connections to the city, employers and nearby entertainment were important points for the development team and residents. Triton Cay features three large courtyards for outdoor community space, including a resort-inspired pool, grilling stations, and quiet reflection areas. Community amenities also include a clubhouse, fitness center, gaming & entertainment spaces, as well as dedicated work from home areas. Pets are welcome with a dog park and pet care area available to all residents.
The building is clad in contextual materials including brick, stucco and clay tile roofing inspired by the urban fabric surrounding the property. A second stage of Triton Cay is under development which will add 200 market-rate apartments to the project.
