Dimit Architects recently hosted Elizabeth, a Saint Joseph Academy student, as part of the high school’s Junior Professional Shadowing Project. Saint Joseph Academy is a college preparatory school on the west side of Cleveland.
As a project sponsor, Dimit Architects hosted Elizabeth for three days and taught her about the design process. She received hands-on experience by creating a material board and drawing her room in AutoCAD. Team members took her to several job sites, where she learned a bit about the construction administration process.
The team had a great time hosting Elizabeth, and feel that her future is bright should she decide to pursue a career in design.
