Dimit Architects is working with Paran Management and The Gateway Group to convert the former University Club, built in 1918 in Akron, into the Martin House boutique hotel.
Martin House will include 74 hotel rooms as well as a full-service restaurant, coffee shop/bar, meeting space, event space, historic ballroom & fitness center.
The historic structure will house most of the front-of house elements while new multi-story construction will include rooms and a large outdoor patio ideal for outdoor weddings and corporate events.
The project was awarded Federal and State Historic Tax Credits.
