The Butcher and the Brewer restaurant and bar on Downtown Cleveland’s bustling East 4th Street entails 13,657 square feet over two levels.
The space once served as a turn-of-the-century department store, and still boasts the building’s original, hand-carved wooden staircase. The building was renovated and now includes a brew pub, kitchen, butcher shop and market, brewing facilities, basement event space, street front patio and a “speakeasy” style craft cocktail lounge.
Aside from the staircase, the interior was almost completely redone. Design features include custom furnishings and interiors and reclaimed steel and glass window walls.
